Satan is alive and well today. One only has to look around, listen to the news and one can see the devil’s influence. He is known as the prince of the power of the air and he knows that his time is short. This new series will cover end time news items and where the Bible speaks of them.

Today’s topic is about Boston’s annual SatanCon conference and its depraved agenda! I never thought I would find myself writing about this horrible topic. But it is one that is going to become more and more prevalent in our society. The Apostle Paul warned us that in the end times people would adopt the doctrines of devils and would listen to seducing spirits. It sounds as though this is already at work today, and it is!

1 Tim 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

It’s not bad enough that the devil’s influence is all around us, but now his practices are openly celebrated in our country. Since the 1960’s, we’ve opened the door to more and more satanic influences and they are multiplying by the day. Where does this doctrine come from? One of the Christian evangelists who was outside the conference center made this comment:

Kubal said they were surprised to learn during their conversations with some of the Satanists that many of them had been raised as Christians, but “maybe had a hurt from the church and now had navigated away from the church.”

It’s sad that children who were raised in the church have left the church because of false preachers; wolves in sheep’s clothing they are! This is how Satan does his work. Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 7:15! The devil loves nothing more than to put one of his men in the pulpit and watch that church fall apart. And even better, he watches as lives are ruined because of it.

At the conference, a Bible and a Thin Blue Line flag were torn up, which represents law enforcement. The very epitome of authority is represented in these two items and they are hated by satanists.

Discipline in the home has reached an all-time low due to the deterioration of the home. There are 10.6 million one-parent households in the U.S. today. There is a rebellious covering over our nation enveloping our cities and we wonder from where it is coming. Satan’s influence is all over this globe (1 Peter 5:8) and as his followers gain more and more influence, we can expect a great falling away after the Rapture. Then Satan will have full rule over this earth and the wrath of God will come upon it like no other time before.

2 Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The time is coming when it will be too late for you to repent. You will remember each opportunity you were given by God to be saved; you will remember each time you laughed it off and ignored it. The Bible has an ongoing theme for God’s chosen people, Israel. We see it in today’s verse and we see it in the numerous verses below. One thing is for certain, God has never abandoned His people nor will He ever! Even during the Tribulation, God will pour out His mercy on His people giving them every opportunity to acknowledge their Messiah, Jesus!

(Jos 8:1)  And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:

(Jos 10:25)  And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

(1 Chron 28:20)  And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

(2 Chron 20:17)  Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

(Isa 41:10)  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

(Jer 30:10)  Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

(Jer 46:27)  But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

Multiple times, God has told His people not to fear nor to be dismayed. This word, dismayed, means disheartened or deprived of courage. If there has ever been a people who has been persecuted in this world, it is the Jewish people. God knew their frame because He created man. He knew they would get discouraged and that they would need Him to remind them who He is and what He can accomplish! When Christ came in the flesh to speak the words of God, He opened up the way of salvation to all man, not just the Jews. Now the Church can reap the same blessings from today’s verses because God never changes. The Church does not replace Israel, that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying God’s character cannot change and He blesses His people; therefore we will be blessed as we work for the Kingdom!

(Mal 3:6a)  For I am the LORD, I change not;

Are you troubled today? Are you possibly the person who has been deceived by the world’s lies about what gender you are? Have you crossed that line and fear that you may have gone too far and God will never forgive you? There IS forgiveness to be had! That forgiveness can be found at the foot of the cross of Jesus when a sinner acknowledges that He died for sins just like yours – in fact, for all sin. There is no sin too great that He cannot forgive! But all you have to do is accept that forgiveness, repent of your sins and live for Him; proclaiming Him to all who will listen. Repentance is the key. You don’t see the sinner’s prayer in the Bible. But what you DO see in the Bible is a call to repent! (Matthew 3:2, Matthew 4:17, Mark 1:16, Luke 13:3, 5) You may think it’s too late to turn back the clock, but it is not! Take it from someone who was ready to commit suicide, but God rushed someone to my side to tell me about His saving power!

Mat 11:28-30  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

There is truth to be found, reader! The truth and the future of our world is carefully written in the Bible so we could see what was to come. Friend, if you’re not sure where you will spend eternity, please settle the matter. Christian, if you’re not living your life for the Lord, there’s not much time left. We need to give the lost hope as we have hope! Friend, don’t be willfully ignorant of the end times. (2 Peter 3:5) If you are not born-again, confess your sins and repent of them. Are the recent news on a possible all out war with Russia and the Ukraine upsetting you? Are you afraid that nuclear war is possible and even on the horizon? It’s possible that this will happen before the Rapture. But how do we deal with that?

Today’s verse sums it up pretty nicely, if you ask me. God does not sleep and He is always aware of what is happening everywhere, let alone with me. What’s the worst thing that can happen? That we’re killed and we go to Heaven? We could die on our way home from grocery shopping. God is faithful all the time! He never changes His mind and His promises are forever!

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

There is no sense in worrying about what has not happened. One thing we can be certain about is that God already knows what’s going to happen and His will is going to be accomplished. His Word will stand firm and nothing can stop prophecy from happening, amen?

Isa 46:10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

No amount of worrying will stop what is to come in the Tribulation. But to the Christian, we don’t need to worry; the Rapture can happen at any moment and we will be taken out of the turmoil which is about to happen on the entire earth! We can already see the spirit of antichrist at work around us. Our world has gone crazy and that’s with the Holy Spirit’s restraint! Can you imagine just how awful the world will become once the Church is gone and the Holy Spirit’s restraint is removed? Satan and his demons will wreak havoc on this earth and in the hearts of men.

2 Thess 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

One only has to read the Book of Revelation beginning in Chapter 6 to see that there are grievous judgments awaiting a God-forsaken world! Why would one want to reject a merciful God? It is man’s own stubborn and prideful heart, as old as Cain, that will be his downfall!

The truth and the future of our world is carefully written in the Bible so we could see what was to come. Friend, if you’re not sure where you will spend eternity, please settle the matter. Christian, if you’re not living your life for the Lord, there’s not much time left. We need to give the lost hope as we have hope! Friend, don’t be willfully ignorant of the end times. Psa 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.  

Good morning, Reader! Today’s verse truly bless my heart because they reveal to me a very personal God. God is not a God who sits in Heaven and doesn’t pay attention to what happens to His creation. God loves His creation so much that He created Him to live forever in a beautiful garden. He did not create robots but created male and female to fellowship with Him. Genesis 3:8 said that the Lord walked in the garden and spoke with Adam and Eve. We know this was Jesus because John 1:3 says Jesus made all things. John 1:1 calls Jesus the Word of God. Remember the hymn, “In the Garden”?

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses

And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

God desires fellowship with His creation and gave us His Word until we can see Him face-to-face. Friend, you are not walking this earth at this moment in time all by yourself. The same God from the Garden of Eden is here with you. The same Creator, Jesus Christ, died for your sins – He took yours and my sins to the cross and nailed them there. (Colossians 2:14) There is no sin that has not been nailed to that cross. Those that are born again (John 3:3, 3:7) are no longer under condemnation. (Romans 8:1) Jesus said that those who don’t believe are condemned already. (John 3:18) We are born with sin and therefore are already condemned. It is not until we believe on the name of the Lord Jesus and get saved that we can claim Romans 8:1. He knows you by your name! This alone should bring every believer great comfort!

We are able to take comfort knowing that the same God who created us desires to take our burdens and leave them with Him. There are days when life will seem unbearable to you. In those days, the devil loves nothing more than to make our worries and anxieties into yokes. You can see clearly here in this picture that the yoke has two holes, one for the Lord and one for you. Normally the farmer puts one strong animal in one side and the weaker on the other. This way, the burden is not so great on the weaker one and the stronger one can lead. The devil wants us in his yoke, which is always geared to place the burden on us! He wants to weigh us down so we can take our eyes off the Lord. He wants us to submit to him so we are no earthly good for the cause of Christ. But Matthew 11:28-30 tells us that Jesus’ yoke is easy and His burden is light. He also tells us that we shall find rest in His yoke.

Friend, during these end times, we believers must take God’s Word literally and apply His Word to our lives. Without it, we will fail. But when we use the salve of God’s Word and apply it to our lives, Jesus will give us blessed rest during troubled times. We absolutely need that rest so we can show a lost and dying world what it is like to be in the midst of chaos yet be at perfect peace and rest in Jesus. We know this rest first because of His shed blood for our sins and that we are forgiven. But secondly, we know this rest because He has promised to come take His Bride before the wrath of God is set upon this God-forsaken world! (1 Thess. 1:10, 2:19, 4:16-18, 5:1-11)

Have you ever tried to find comfort through other people or things? How about through food or drugs/alcohol? If the Lord has healed you of these things, you know that the only true comfort is from the Lord Jesus Christ! It is the only comfort that lasts. Everything else is temporary. My father was an alcoholic and didn’t get saved till late in life. He was sober from 1965 to 1981. After all those years, he started to drink again but this time, he spiraled quickly. My brother led him to the Lord and that healed him for good! Salvation can be easily found when one simply opens his Bible and searches for it. My recommendation to the one who is lost is to read the Gospel of John three times. You will find Jesus there!

Today’s verses give us the pattern in which to follow when the things we’ve tried to find comfort in don’t work. We also must protect ourselves from the scoffers of the world and those that are always negative. The Apostle Peter warned us that these types of people would be prevalent in the end times. We see this all around us today. One only has to turn on the television and we are bombarded by sinfulness.

2 Peter 3:3-4  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  (4)  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

With today’s social climate, people do not want to hear about God. The knowledge of science has taken over and has become the world’s “god,” if you will. The world has been deceived into believing that climate change is at a catastrophic point and will do whatever it takes to move that agenda forward. People are even listening to a child on that very topic! Greta Thunberg became an overnight sensation and had not even graduated high school. She does not hold a college degree but yet the world’s leaders invited her to speak on the topic of climate change! My word, can we be any more naive? The world has totally gone insane. The powers that be are pushing an agenda that will bring a one-world government into power. These same powers want to deceive in order to accomplish the goals of the very devil himself. Yes, Satan is behind the climate change agenda – he has influenced those same world leaders into deceiving the many. God told us that this would happen. God said that the world would worship creation instead of the Creator:

Rom 1:21-25  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  (24)  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  (25)  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

It should not come as a surprise that the world today is worshipping nature! It happened in the Old Testament and it is happening today! (Ecclesiastes 1:9) There’s nothing new, my friend. People are worshipping “mother” earth (Gaia) just as they were thousands of years ago. The whole climate change topic has evolved into government overreach and its off shute, i.e. countries forcing electric vehicles. The science shows that lithium batteries take more resources to build and are cost prohibitive to the owner. This is all done in the name of climate change.

Friend, all of this is pointing to one thing and that is a one-world government. As Christians, we see this playing out in Daniel and Revelation. These are exciting times for believers but not so exciting for those who deny God or don’t believe in Jesus Christ. The times ahead, especially after the Rapture of the Church, will be the most horrible time ever to happen on this earth. (Matthew 24:21) In the very same verses above, we see that people will dishonor their own bodies! Who would have thought that a man would try to become a woman! The world has gone mad!
