1 Cor. 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

He Knows!

The believer has the wonderful privilege of always being able to see the blessed “light at the end of the tunnel” because we know the One who sees everything. However, one can become weary when he/she becomes entangled with the cares of this world and his vision becomes cloudy.

Imagine standing on a mountain and viewing a 100-car train below. You can see the engine, and also look further down to see the last car. From this vantage point, you can see if there is any trouble up ahead.

Now if you were riding in one of the cars and you were looking out the window, would you be able to see several cars forward? Would you be able to see what is happening several cars behind you? No, you could only see what is closest to you.

I believe our lives are quite similar to a train. We tend to remember what has happened to us recently but fail to remember how the Lord has helped us a few years ago when things were pretty rough. We also cannot see what lies ahead because no man knows the future, of course. However, my friend, our Creator can see the entire 100-car train just as He sees your entire life. He not only sees the engine or the caboose, but He sees every single car in between. Each car carries its own treasure – each car carries its own burden – each car carries its own set of problems. The Lord sees them all!

Furthermore, the fact that our Shepherd sees each car and what it has in store for us, He knows exactly what we need along the way. No matter how fast or slow our train is moving, the Lord is there along the way, ready to give us the right measure of grace we need to make it through. There is nothing in those cars so frightful that He is not aware of it. There is nothing in those cars so burdensome that He will not sustain you. There is nothing so tempting in those cars that He will not provide a way of escape.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. ~1 Corinthians 10:13

Therefore, don’t be weary in well doing. Don’t worry about whether or not your work for the Lord will amount to your expectations or not. There is no need because He knows what is in store for you around the bend. The Lord sees the big picture (the whole train) and knows the outcome. He stands ready to provide you with exactly what you need at the time you need it.

~Luke 12:29-31 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. (29) For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. (30) But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. (31)

Christ wants us to continue with our spiritual walk – reading, praying, seeking after His will, doing His work, being a blessing to others – and leave the conducting to Him. He is our Great Train Conductor and He never sleeps

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. ~Psalm 121:3

Comfort During the End Times – Day 29

Are the recent news on a possible all out war with Russia and the Ukraine upsetting you? Are you afraid that nuclear war is possible and even on the horizon? It’s possible that this will happen before the Rapture. But how do we deal with that?

Today’s verse sums it up pretty nicely, if you ask me. God does not sleep and He is always aware of what is happening everywhere, let alone with me. What’s the worst thing that can happen? That we’re killed and we go to Heaven? We could die on our way home from grocery shopping. God is faithful all the time! He never changes His mind and His promises are forever!

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

There is no sense in worrying about what has not happened. One thing we can be certain about is that God already knows what’s going to happen and His will is going to be accomplished. His Word will stand firm and nothing can stop prophecy from happening, amen?

Isa 46:10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

No amount of worrying will stop what is to come in the Tribulation. But to the Christian, we don’t need to worry; the Rapture can happen at any moment and we will be taken out of the turmoil which is about to happen on the entire earth! We can already see the spirit of antichrist at work around us. Our world has gone crazy and that’s with the Holy Spirit’s restraint! Can you imagine just how awful the world will become once the Church is gone and the Holy Spirit’s restraint is removed? Satan and his demons will wreak havoc on this earth and in the hearts of men.

2 Thess 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

One only has to read the Book of Revelation beginning in Chapter 6 to see that there are grievous judgments awaiting a God-forsaken world! Why would one want to reject a merciful God? It is man’s own stubborn and prideful heart, as old as Cain, that will be his downfall!

The truth and the future of our world is carefully written in the Bible so we could see what was to come. Friend, if you’re not sure where you will spend eternity, please settle the matter. Christian, if you’re not living your life for the Lord, there’s not much time left. We need to give the lost hope as we have hope! Friend, don’t be willfully ignorant of the end times. (2 Peter 3:5) If you are not born-again, confess your sins and repent of them. The time is coming when it will be too late for you to repent. You will remember each opportunity you were given by God to be saved; you will remember each time you laughed it off and ignored it. Please Reader, repent and accept Christ into your life. (Act 16:31Rom 10:9) I want to be sure that anyone who reads the posts on this blog can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to Heaven. Have you received Christ as your Saviour? If no, your sins are not covered by His sacrificial offering of Himself. You have not been redeemed by His blood. It is no coincidence that God has placed you here for such a time as this so that you may be saved if you are not already.
