Except For One Book Only

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89)

We know that God’s word is Jesus Christ Himself. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2) God’s words, through our Bible, was breathed to man through God’s Holy Spirit and reveals all we need to know about Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind. Is it any wonder that the different versions today try to take away Christ’s deity or try to remove references to His shed blood and work on the cross? Is it any wonder that they try to remove the fact that there is no other way to heaven but through Him?

Psalm 119:89 says that God’s Word is for ever settled in heaven! There is not a book that has ever been written that can lay claim to this, except the holy Scriptures!

God’s Word was settled in the past; it is settled today; and it is settled in the future. We cannot change it because it is settled. Period!

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Rev 22:19)

God’s word was, is and continues to be settled in heaven. God never changes – He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. (Hebrews 13:8) Since He never changes and Jesus is the Word according to John 1:1-2, and the Word is settled in heaven, then we must believe that there cannot be 100+ different versions of the Word of God out there. That is why it is so important to believe that God would preserve His Word. Each letter of the Word is so important that there’s not one thing contained in it which will go unnoticed.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Mat 5:18 )

Why would God consider every little jot and tittle of the Word? Because His Word is settled. It cannot change. It will not change.

Beware of false imitations out there. Satan would love nothing better than to de-throne Christ. That has been his goal from the beginning.

(12) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: (13) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (14)

If he can remove Christ from the different versions of the Bible out there, then people will believe that Allah, Buddha, and yes Lucifer himself is god and he will take as many souls as he can with him to hell. The devil has already accomplished this through many church leaders who claim that there are many roads to God. That is a lie from the pits of hell! Even the pope has gotten on this platform! Would you follow a child’s drawing of a map to go to Orlando, Florida without questioning its accuracy? Why, then, do you follow a religious leader whose spiritual convictions have changed over the years? Those convictions obviously were not based on the Bible but on men’s opinions.

Remember, God’s Word is settled – there’s no changing it even though religious leaders claim differently. Beware, lest you fall into modernism’s trap and become like the world. Your doctrine will be diluted and your testimony will not resemble your Lord and Saviour, but will resemble the god of this world.

The word “pride” or proud has been hijacked by the liberal agenda today. Sadly, it has become totally the opposite of what the Scriptures intended. The first sin committed was the sin of pride and that was committed by Lucifer.

It is not surprising that the Scriptures state that being proud is a sin! The definition has changed through the years but God’s Word never changes! It is settled, once and for all in Heaven. (Psalm 119:89) Look at the difference between the definition originally intended for the word “proud” and what today’s dictionary describes:

Having inordinate self-esteem; possessing a high or unreasonable conceit of one’s own excellence, either of body or mind. A man may be proud of his person, of his talents,of his accomplishments or of his achievements. He may be proud of any thing to which he bears some relation. He may be proud of his country, his government, his equipage, or of whatever may, by association, gratify his esteem of himself. He may even be proud of his religion or of his church. He conceives that any thing excellent or valuable, in which he has a share, or to which he stands related, contributes to his own importance, and this conception exalts his opinion of himself. Proud is followed by of, before the object, supra.

Is it any wonder that the world doesn’t see pride as a sin? But friend, it truly is! This sin of pride is from the devil himself. The Lord Jesus humbled Himself, leaving a kingly throne and became man so He could be the sacrifice for man’s sins. Humbleness is not taught today and it is so desperately needed!

Exo 10:3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

2 Chron 34:27 Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.

Pride is not something to one should practice as a Christian. Instead, humbling ourselves is far better. If you are not truly born-again, you won’t see today’s topic as a sin. But there is coming a time when it will be too late for you to repent and be saved. As I read this news article, I remember thinking to myself, “Well, this can’t possibly end well!” I can just imagine what will be the outcome of such practices! Reader, you must be alert when it comes to artificial intelligence. It can “appear” to be something that will be used for the good, but I dare say that the devil will find a way to use it for his purposes. He is a deceiver and a liar so anything coming from his hands will destroy. (2 Corinthians 11:14)

Scientists have gone completely insane! We are not God and cannot create artificial “life”!

How do these ideas evolve, anyway?! The devil’s influence is surely powerful. It is known as the spirit of antichrist. The Apostle John is the only one who wrote about that “spirit of antichrist.” (1 John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3, 2 John 1:7) Before the Tribulation can take place, all these things must happen first. The thought, however, is how much more must happen? Is it possible that there will be people who will be half AI and half human? To what extent will scientists go before they have gone too far?

All these things must come to past in order for the antichrist to come into the picture. We know that the antichrist isn’t revealed to the world until he signs a peace treaty with Israel. In order for a need for peace, there must be war. We are seeing wars now and rumors of wars. We are so very close.

The time is coming when it will be too late for you to repent. You will remember each opportunity you were given by God to be saved; you will remember each time you laughed it off and ignored it. Please Reader, repent and accept Christ into your life. (Act 16:31, Rom 10:9) I want to be sure that anyone who reads the posts on this blog can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to Heaven. Have you received Christ as your Saviour? If no, your sins are not covered by His sacrificial offering of Himself. You have not been redeemed by His blood. It is no coincidence that God has placed you here for such a time as this so that you may be saved if you are not already.
