America on the most part has been protected against great pestilence. But will it last? We are already seeing things happen across the globe. The world thinks it is so smart. They attribute these things as “mother nature” being the cause of these tragedies. Do you not think that God can use these types of pestilences to fulfill His will?
According to the University of Nevada in Reno, Mormon crickets eat native, herbaceous perennials (forbs), grasses, shrubs, and cultivated forage crops, reducing feed for grazing wildlife and livestock. In large numbers, their feeding can contribute to soil erosion, poor water quality, nutrient-depleted soils, and potentially cause damage to range and cropland ecosystems.
Drought encourages Mormon cricket outbreaks, which may last several years (historically 5 to 21 years) and cause substantial economic losses to rangeland, cropland, and home gardens. This is particularly true as adults and nymphs of Mormon crickets migrate in a band, eating plants along their path.

God will be using pestilence during the end times as well as during the Tribulation as a wake-up call to mankind to repent and be saved.
Mat 24:7-8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Pestilences are not new. In fact, right here in the U.S., according to the CDC, 80% of U.S. plague cases have been the bubonic form. But it also includes Septicemic and Pneumonic plagues as well. This map shows us the record of plague from 1970-2020.
Pestilence is not limited to plagues and insects. But it also includes anything that is harmful and destructive. In fact, the Cambridge Dictionary also includes in its definition: vandalism is a pestilence that must be stamped out. Goodness, the Tribulation will be filled with great pestilence. It will make the time of Covid seem like child’s play.
God wants all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Discipline is different for each child because of their personalities. It is no difference with mankind. Some are harder to bring to salvation than others. Some are tender-hearted while others are hard-hearted. Whichever category one falls under, God does not want any to perish and go to Hell. Once Christians are removed from this earth at the Rapture, there will be a horrible spiritual darkness. People will believe lies (2 Thessalonians 2:11) and will be harder to come to a saving knowledge. However, it won’t be impossible! God’s mercy will still be able to be found during the Tribulation.
The world thinks it’s so smart and that they have answers for all that is happening. But none of this takes believers in Jesus Christ by surprise because we have God’s Word. If you are not born-again, these news items are disturbing to you and you wonder what in the world is going on! God wants to draw you to Him, no matter what it takes. Don’t just “accept” the news, but question it. Dig into God’s Word and let Him show you what is about to fall on the entire earth.

The time is coming when it will be too late for you to repent. You will remember each opportunity you were given by God to be saved; you will remember each time you laughed it off and ignored it. Please Reader, repent and accept Christ into your life. (Act 16:31, Rom 10:9) I want to be sure that anyone who reads the posts on this blog can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to Heaven. Have you received Christ as your Saviour?
