1Co 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. (14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. (15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. (16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
I look at the Rapture as a gift from our Groom, Jesus Christ, to His Bride. As the Church is the body of Christ, it stands to reason that Christ’s body would not be on the earth during the worst time to come upon the earth.
(Mat 24:21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
This tells me that the seven-year Tribulation period is the worst time that has EVER come upon this earth. If you think the ten plagues of Egypt during the time of Moses was bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
The Bible tells us that the Church is the body of Christ – He is the head of the Church. We learn in 1 Corinthians that we, the Church, all make up His body. Therefore, it is impossible for the
(Rom 7:4) Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
(Rom 12:5) So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
(1Co 12:12) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
(1Co 12:27) Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
(Eph 3:6) That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
(Eph 4:12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(Eph 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
(Col 1:24) Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
(Col 2:17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
The Church is the body of Christ. How can the body be separated from its Head, the Lord Jesus? It cannot. Just as a wife and husband are one, so is the Church and Christ. This is the mystery spoken of in Ephesians 5:32! Therefore, the Church cannot possibly be on earth during the Tribulation; which is the worst period of time ever! How can Christ be separated from His body, His bride?
It’s not rocket science, friend. Friend, you must be born again in order to participate, no matter what viewpoint you hold. Friend, if you are not born again, it is no coincidence that God has placed you here for such a time as this so that you may be saved if you are not already. Don’t you want to be a part of the Church when she is raptured into the clouds to meet Jesus?
